War Espejo is a province-born, city-based artist known for his work in online lifestyle website, Spot.ph, and, more recently, Esquiremag.ph. He took up Bachelor of Fine Arts in college where he fell in love with the works of Salvador Dali, Rene Magritte, Max Ernst and Hieronymus Bosch. The inuence of such artists can be seen in his digital collages which are done in surrealistic style using different elements and texture. Aside from working as the Art Director for Spot.ph, for the past decade, he has also done illustrations and cover design for several books and magazines. Though currently focused on digital art, War continues to enjoy doing art using traditional medium during his free time.
